While he was working at the DAM following his retirement, Baryn Futa decided to embrace his newfound love of art and do what he could to stoke that every way he could. While his deep attraction to the art world may have been surprising and while it also came late, for Baryn Futa, this appreciation for art has thus far made him happy and given him purpose. It’s hard for Baryn to describe, but something profound happened then, and it transformed his life in a profound way.
Now, Baryn Futa is seen as one of the best art patrons in the country. That is in part because he tried to cultivate his new love of art by attending many art fairs and museum exhibitions, in addition to anything else he found interesting. Baryn also took art classes and established his own art collection, which is now very extensive and impressive. These days, Baryn Futa is attempting to change the attitude that causes art to be too often taken for granted and unappreciated as a priority by society. Baryn Futa has made it his life’s work to propagate the idea that brilliant artists should be appreciated enough to thrive.
